When Dogs Bark, Art Speaks.
Tokyo’s dog-obsessed artist Jeremy Yamamura and London’s sonic shapeshifter Joe Zeitlin reunite for their latest audio-visual trip: God is Dog. In this world, everything is dog. Barks, growls, whimpers, and pants become sound samples—each one a brushstroke in a living, barking canvas. Jeremy’s surreal animations sync seamlessly with Joe’s sculpted soundscape, blurring the lines: is the sound driving the motion, or is the motion commanding the beat?
The result is a hypnotic, chaotic symphony of love, struggle, and raw, tail-wagging friendship—a full-blown bromance wrapped in fur and frequencies.
“For all my Dogs,” he said. And truly—where there are dogs, there is hope.
God is Dog. Amen.

JEREMY YAMAMURA
Born in 1981, Jeremy Yamamura is a Tokyo-based artist whose creative journey began with graffiti in the early 2000s—and a street-born dog that became his lifelong muse. After graduating in motion graphics and animation in 2004, Yamamura moved to London, where he worked as a VJ and graphic designer, exhibiting for the first time in East London. In 2006, he relocated to Tokyo and worked as a video director and motion graphic designer.
Since 2019, following his first solo exhibition, Yamamura has shifted his full focus to his art practice, dedicating himself entirely to painting, installations, and exhibitions. His signature dog character—born on the streets and evolved over decades—has become an international symbol, featured in shows across Japan and Asia, Europe, and US.
In 2023, he released his first art book at Ginza Six in Tokyo, and he has collaborated with global brands including Converse, Manhattan Portage, and Sesame Street.
Yamamura continues to balance global gallery exhibitions with grassroots community work, creating large-scale murals and pop-up shows that bring his art directly to the streets where it all began.

JOE ZEITLIN
Born in England in 1983, Joe Zeitlin is a classically trained cellist (Royal Academy of Music, full scholarship, DRAM distinction) whose work spans classical performance, electronic music, and sound design. While honing his cello craft, he began producing breakbeat and experimental electronic tracks, with releases on labels like Scuffed and Redstone Press, and regular airplay on Rinse FM, BBC Music, Kiosk, and The Lot Radio NY.
Based in London, Joe moves fluidly between DJing, concert performance, and composing for film, dance, theatre, and brands. His credits include original work for Netflix, HBO, MTV, Beatsbydre, and Ted Baker — most notably scoring David Eggars’ Nosferatu.
Since 2005, he has also been the sonic half of Dogzzz, an ongoing audio-visual collaboration with Tokyo-based artist Jeremy Yamamura.
